BPD News

With the beginning of a new year, the tenative yearly statistics for the department have been compiled. These stats show an approximate total of 2774 Incidents for the year. This number consists of 1072 Incident Reports filed, 640 Arrest Reports filed, 136 Accident Reports filed, 327 Criminal Papers served, and 657 Citations issued.

The Nuisance Abatement Officer picked up 129 animals during the year, placed 14 Nuisance Vehicle notification tags, responded to or initiated 59 Grass/Weed complaints, and had 21 overgrown yards or lots cut by the Town.

Additional statistics will be made available, once additional sources finalize their yearly totals.
