January 27, 2005
On January 5, 2005, a larceny that involved a substantial amount of money was reported to the Benson Police Department. A comprehensive and detailed investigation was conducted, and as part of this investigation, officers of the Benson Police Department, and the Harnett County Sheriff's Department conducted a search warrant at a residence in Harnett County. As a result of this search warrant, several items of evidence were located and seized. On January 26, 2005, two suspects were arrested and charged in the incident.
The suspects charged in this incident were transported to Smithfield to appear before a Magistrate. Their names, charges, and bond amounts are below.

Aaron Lee King
Accessory After the Fact to a Felony
$20,000 Secured Bond
